Becky & Josh’s Vancouver Rowing Club Wedding

What fun we had with Becky & Josh and their lovely family and friends on their wedding day. We were immediately welcomed by everyone and made to feel a part of the group. Becky & Josh have an incredible sense of style. Becky was absolutely stunning in her gorgeous gown, the jacket from her Grandma’s wedding dress, and her funky blue hair. We loved too the bridesmaids dresses and their incredible shoes and fancy hair pieces. Of course Josh & his groomsmen looked pretty dapper too. Josh’s shoes were vintage shoes from Woodwards. Becky & Josh created so many wonderful handmade details from the flowers, to the awesome Chebacca & Ewok cake topper,  to the amazing programs.  In their programs Becky & Josh had a photo scavenger hunt  for their guests to do in Stanley Park and the winners got to hit the buffet first. Isn’t that a great idea?

Becky got ready at the funky Waldorf Hotel and Roger had a ball shooting in there. Hurray for Tiki chic! Their beautiful wedding ceremony was at St. John the Apostle Parish in Kerrisdale. After the ceremony we headed to Stanley Park for portraits with Becky & Josh and their bridal party before their reception at the charming Vancouver Rowing ClubEmelle’s Catering created an amazing southern barbecue spread that was sooo good. The speeches were so touching and full of love for this amazing couple. Becky’s 1st dance with her dad was so full of joy and fun that it almost brought me to tears. Josh’s band played and wow, were they ever good!  All in all it was a fabulous celebration. The day flew right by – our time seemed to end in the blink of an eye.

Congratulations, Becky & Josh! Thank you so much for having us along on such an unforgettable day.

Hair, check! Mustache, check!

Becky & Josh made these gorgeous programs. Amazing aren’t they?

Their  flower girl, Josh’s niece, is so adorable!

First kiss & a super cute joyful giggle

Isn’t this portrait of Roger’s gorgeous?

I love the girls gorgeous shoes and the different coloured crinoline on the bridesmaid dresses.

The boys being hilarious.

I loved how Becky put buttons in the mason jars. Such a sweet touch.

Their cake topper and light saber knife were super cute.

Becky & Josh’s first dance was so fun & sweet

I’m not going to lie, watching Becky & her Dad having so much fun during their dance together brought tears to my eyes.

Josh and his band played and wow were they ever good!

They had everyone up dancing!
