Queenie & Mike had a lovely lunch wedding at Brock House Restaurant. The weather on their big day was absolutely gorgeous. We had so much rain on the days leading up to it and the days after it, but on their wedding day we had gorgeous warm sunshine. When Queenie & Mike sent over their schedule for the day, one of the items was for Mike to change into his Red Serge. Roger and I had to look it up and were super excited to find out that a Red Serge is the Mountie’s signature dress jacket. Mike had told us that he is a police officer but we didn’t know that he is in the RCMP. Mike was our first RCMP groom, which is why we were so excited. We knew that Queenie would be gorgeous on her wedding day, and she absolutely was with a red rose in her hair. Queenie & Mike’s bridal party was filled with friends that they had known since they were young which was so lovely. We took Queenie & Mike’s portraits before and after their wedding so that they were able to enjoy their guests at their reception. At the end of the day Roger brought out his 4×5 film camera and captured some lovely portraits of Queenie & Mike.
Here are just a few of our favourite photos from Queenie & Mike’s wedding. If you’d like to see more, please watch the slideshow at the end of the post.
