Roger and I took off to Salt Spring Island last week to get some r&r before we jump right into wedding season. We had such a lovely time. We went for walks, we took long baths, we ate too much of the yummy locally made cheese, we saw eagles, orcas, sea otters and oodles of crabs, we drank sangria, we played games and we slept. It was really great and much needed. I feel so lucky that we live in such a beautiful part of the world. Here are a few pics from our time there.
Exactly the pace we were after at the Salt Spring Island Cheese Farm.

So lovely to lay around and enjoy the quiet and the warm sun.

Some of the not so wild creatures we saw (the wild one were too fast to capture with our cameras).

The funkiest rooster we ever did see.

Salt Springs Spa, our home away from home.

The amazing view from the top of Mount Maxwell.

We liked all the teeny tiny old churches there.

Mmmm Cava Sangria!

The adorable movie theatre. Maybe next time we’ll actually go inside.

Hey Holly and Roger you totally visited my old town where I went to highschool. The photos look awesome!!!
The little cabins are soooo cute. Glad you guys had such a fantastic relaxing time. Great colors.
