Candace and Dylan’s Wedding

We’ve been swamped with work so I’m a little behind  in my blog posts, (yes, Dylan,  I promise we’ve just been busy and you ARE cool enough to be on our blog!). We’ve been excited to share Candace and Dylan’s wedding with you. When we first met with Candace and Dylan we hit it off immediately, talking and laughing away. Not only are they really great together, they are also really kind, fun and full of life. On their wedding day when Roger took out Candace’s shoes, rings and dress to photograph, I was so excited. I then knew Candace was a girl after my own heart with her gorgeous pink wedding dress, her fluevogs (the exact pair I’ve been lusting after for quite some time) and the sapphires in her engagement and wedding rings. It was a rainy morning on their wedding day but Roger told them that the sky would clear and they should go ahead with their outdoor ceremony in the Rose Garden on Burnaby Mountain, which they did. Candace and Dylan had their reception at the Diamond Alumni Centre at Simon Fraser University. It was a great day with lots of laughter and joy.

Congratulations, Candace and Dylan. Thank you for letting us be a part of your wedding day.

Holly and Roger

Her parasol was soooo cool.

Candace and her maid of honour both had fluevogs!

For her speech to Dylan, Candace learned how to play guitar and wrote a song for him. It was a beautiful moment and one of my favourite parts of their wedding day.

This little girl’s face while they were cutting the cake was priceless. Mmmmm cake.

These two photos completely crack me up with the difference between the women catching the bouquet and the guys catching the garter.
