Our good friends, Viv and Phil, got engaged the other weekend and we’ve been walking around with giant smiles on our faces since then. They are a really lovely couple and go so well together. We couldn’t be happier for them. Really. What makes it even more special for us is that Phil is in training right now to serve in Afghanistan. They are going to have their wedding when he gets back from his tour of duty, so we are all pitching in to help make their day something really special. Viv and I and our wonderful group of girlfriends have been getting all excited bouncing ideas around for her wedding. They’ve already booked the venue, the gorgeous Brock House, next May. I thought it might be fun to share with you all the journey along the way with planning her wedding. They have been gracious enough to allow me to do this on our blog. Yay!
